Roseline Shark (Sahyadria denisonii)

Known for their striking lateral stripes and a vibrant splash of red that runs through the snout, the Roseline Shark—or Denison Barb—is a standout inhabitant for large planted tanks. They are active, schooling fish that thrive when they have plenty of horizontal swimming room to burn off energy. While they are peaceful toward most tankmates, their speed and size mean they do best with other active species rather than shy, slow-moving fish. Keep them in groups of six or more to see their most natural behavior and vibrant coloration.
