Paleatus Cory

Known commonly as the Peppered Cory, these active bottom-dwellers are a staple for community tanks for good reason. They spend their days scouring the substrate with their sensitive barbels, cleaning up leftover morsels while adding constant movement to the lower levels of your aquarium. Unlike some fussier tropical fish, these cats are exceptionally hardy and handle cooler water temperatures better than most of their cousins. They are social creatures that display much more confidence and natural behavior when kept in a group of six or more.

• Prefers a soft sand substrate to protect their delicate barbels from abrasion.
• Thrives in well-oxygenated water with a moderate flow.
• Accepts a wide variety of sinking pellets, frozen bloodworms, and high-quality flakes.
