Gold Neon Tetras (Paracheirodon innesi)

These shimmering characins are a unique xanthic color morph of the traditional Neon Tetra. Instead of the standard olive-green back, they display a metallic, translucent gold body that catches the light beautifully in a planted tank. They still retain that signature electric blue stripe and a dash of red near the tail, though the colors appear softer and more ethereal. Because they are a captive-bred variant of a very hardy species, they tend to adapt well to a variety of water parameters as long as the environment is stable and clean.

• Thrives in groups of 6 or more to encourage natural schooling behavior and reduce stress.
• Prefers a well-planted aquarium with plenty of swimming space and dim lighting.
