These striking Asian catfish are famous for their almost entirely transparent bodies, allowing you to see their skeleton and internal organs clearly. They are a true schooling species that finds safety in numbers; watching a dozen of them hover together in a shimmering, synchronized line against a backdrop of green plants is one of the coolest sights in the hobby. They prefer a peaceful environment with gentle flow and plenty of tall vegetation to hide among when they feel shy. Since they can be a bit sensitive to water quality shifts, they do best in established aquariums with consistent parameters.
