Blue Panchax Killi
Blue Panchax Killi
Blue Panchax Killifish, also known as Blue Panchax, are small, colorful tropical fish native to the West African countries of Cameroon, Nigeria, and Equatorial Guinea. These fish are prized for their striking blue coloration, especially in males.
They typically reach a maximum length of around 2 inches. Males are more brightly colored than females and often display a blue and black pattern. Females tend to have a more muted color palette, with brown or olive hues.
Blue Panchax are omnivores and have a varied diet. They enjoy consuming live food (like brine shrimp or bloodworms), frozen food, and flake food. A balanced diet will help maintain their vibrant colors and overall health.
These fish are generally peaceful and compatible with other peaceful species. They are known for their lively and energetic personalities and can be quite entertaining to watch as they dart around the aquarium. However, they should not be kept with aggressive or territorial fish.
Blue Panchax thrive in well-planted aquariums with a moderate water flow and a pH level between 6.5 and 7.5. The tank should be at least 10 gallons to provide ample swimming space for a group of these social fish.
