At Tide & Stream Aquatics, we strive to bring the highest quality fish and service to each one of our customers. It goes without saying that happy fish equals a happy life but we also like to say that happy customers mean happy fish.

Meet the People Behind the Brand

Tide & Stream Aquatics is a family owned and operated company that is driven to bring excellent and healthy fish to home aquariums around the country. Our owners, Dan & Tiffany, have been in the aquaculture industry with various companies and organizations for nearly 40 years combined. Dan was raised on an ornamental fish farm in Florida and continued in the field as a research biologist for the University of Florida, a high school Aquaculture teacher in the Tampa Bay area, and serves on the board for the Florida Aquaculture Association. Tiffany married into the tropical fish industry and quickly became involved in the family business. She was an agriculture teacher with Dan for many years and then became the Executive Director for the Florida Aquaculture Association and Aquacultural Engineering Society. She now works full time at Tide & Stream Aquatics while raising the next generation of ornamental fish farmers. 

Why Choose Us

Tide & Stream Aquatics will always ensure that the customer and fish are happy. While this may result in fish being held longer and are not available, it is vitally important to us that our fish and products are of the highest quality and healthiest. Each fish that is brought into our facility is thoroughly inspected for signs of disease, illness, parasites, etc. All fish that are imported are quarantined for a minimum of seven days before they are further evaluated. By having strict quarantine policies, this ensures that you receive an ultra healthy fish. We also test all of our products personally. We do not and cannot properly advise you on a product for your aquarium without personal experience with the product. It is our hope that with our help, you can be the most successful aquarist in the hobby. 

Making a Difference

The owners of Tide & Stream Aquatics, Dan & Tiffany, were both educators for many years before moving full-time into the aquarium industry. Due to their experience, education is near and dear to their hearts. They also understand that aquariums and the responsibility of maintaining an aquarium can be beneficial to children of all ages and abilities. We hope to bring educational lessons and platforms in the future that will help our youngest aquarist with their journey through the hobby.
